A long-awaited event, Honda Indy Toronto, will be back on the NTT IndyCar calendar for the 2025 season from 18-20 July 2025. The 38th edition of the competition will take place at the iconic 11-turn, 1.786-mile Exhibition Centre, Toronto, Ontario. After the city of Toronto canceled live events, the race was not played due to the COVID-19 pandemic for two years. Since 1986, the annual Toronto race has been played on the Exhibition grounds and Lake Shore Blvd.

The 17-race 2025 calendar was started on 5th March with the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Previously the season had begun in February 2004.
