In 2019 and 2021 Colton Herta won both races at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and will be looking to score a hat trick. The calendar adds even more anticipation and excitement as INDYCAR arrives in Monterey, and it serves as the IndyCar 2023 season finale race. The winner of the race will be awarded on the podium at WeatherTech Raceway on 11 September.
